Carcinoma of the Uterus.

Carcinoma of the cervix uteri is the commonest type of malignant disease affecting the female genital tract, and, indeed, probably the commonest site for all malignant disease in women. It comprises nearly go per cent. of all cases of carcinoma of the uterus. The commonest age at which the disease occurs is between forty and fifty, though cases have been reported in women as young as twenty.
